EBGMMVCO - Electronic Bandgap Millimetrewave Voltage Controlled Oscillator
EBGMMVCO is a novel millimetre-wave Voltage–Controlled Oscillator stabilised by a high-Q electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) resonator. The active part of the oscillator (amplifier and electronic phase shifter) is realised using IHP’s SG13S SiGe-process. Best resonator Q and lowest phase noise are obtained for temperatures ≤10°C.
