Privacy Statement and Policy
1. Collection, Processing and Use of personal Data
IMST collects, processes - which may mean storage, modification, transmission, disable and removal - and uses, if necessary, personal data of the customer in compliance with the relevant provisions of data protection in Germany under the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and other data protection regulations. IMST collects personal information of customers only when they are provided by input mask in the context of the use of the IMSTs website or when the customer has expressly agreed to such collecting of personal data in advance.
When visiting the IMST website, data is automatically stored on servers. This is done solely for backup or statistical purposes. The data is the name of the Internet service provider, the IP address, the web site of the visit from the customer, the IMST website and the web-pages selected by the customer during the visit of the IMST website.
Based on these data the person can be probably identified.
A person-related processing or use of the data at the aforementioned use will in no event take place, but the data is always processed and used anonymously.
If the customer provides his personal data, IMST will process the data only in the context of the legal provisions or declared by the customer consent, use or disclose. IMST will pass such data when IMST has an obligation due to any law, regulation, governmental or judicial authorities.
It should be noted that when using any internet services of third parties by the customer (such as Facebook, Twitter and similar social networks) these services collect personal data that can be assigned to each customer personally.
2. Transfer of Data to Third Parties
Disclosure of personal identifiable information to any third party, unless the customer has consented in individual cases in the dissemination of the data previously, or it is due to any law, regulation, governmental or judicial authorities a duty to communicate will not take place. If it is necessary for the provision of a service, e.g. a request for the transmission of personal data to an external service provider (e.g. verification of the payment data), IMST ensures that it undertakes all relevant legal requirements of data protection that are adhered to by technical and organizational measures. IMST will commit external service providers in addition to be in compliance with the relevant statutory data protection provisions for confidential treatment and the immediate deletion of personal data as soon as they are no longer needed. Violates the external service providers one of the aforementioned duties, IMST can’t accept any responsibility if it fulfills its monitoring obligations sufficiently.
3. Cancellation, Revoking and Rights to know
IMST gives the customer at any time upon written or electronic request, an information about the personal data stored. Furthermore, the customer may at any time exercise his right to amend, delete or revoke its customer account and the personal information contained therein. From the erasure and blocking, however, the data are excluded, required by the IMST to assert and enforce its rights and claims. Excluded from this deletion are all data that must be stored according to statutory provisions otherwise.
For the cases of blocking and deletion, the IMST suggests that in these cases a participation in the performance of IMST can’t be guaranteed anymore.
4. Storage of Data
IMST collects personal information only as long as is necessary for the provision of the desired service or answering a request, unless it is committed due to law, regulation, governmental or judicial authorities to keep the data longer.
IMST shall take the necessary measures to protect personal data of customers and their use for this purpose using appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent tampering, alteration, destruction, loss or access by unauthorized third parties. Our protection measures are continuously adapted to the technical conditions and if necessary, revised.
7. Advanced Data Usage / Newsletter
IMST may be authorized by a customer volunteer statement on "enhanced data use" to additionally collect personal data as well as for the following purposes, to use and to process (i.e. stores, modified, transmitted)
- the inclusion in a customer / user database,
- to send you information about service offers of IMST,
- personalization and individualization of IMST Online-Shop adaptations to the client's interests, and
- the analysis of the customer behaviour within the IMST Online-Shop and its website.
IMST is no longer bound – by the declared separate consent of the customer – without delay, i.e. after completion of the current use to delete the user data directly, but it is entitled to another provision of the personal data, unless the customer requests the deletion of personal data.
